Development case study

We were instructed to consult on the redevelopment of a hotel in Holland Park.

Planning permission was in place for a change of use from a hotel to 14 residential apartments, however we advised that the local market would support the provision of larger, high value apartments.  As a result, we produced an enhanced scheme of 11 units, which increased net saleable floor area and gross development value to in excess of £45,000,000.

 

 

The strategy was a huge success, with us setting new local records for average sales rates per sq ft.

 

W.A.Ellis also played a crucial role in satisfying the section 106 relating to the development, by sourcing and acquiring affordable housing units within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
